Ketchum helped to launch Samsung KX with a bang, by driving headlines for the world’s first vertical gig – fit for your smartphone.

This was a genuine “world first” with Ketchum as the lead communications agency.

In a category where true originality is rare, and against a background of media fatigue, Ketchum constructed an effective comms plan to ensure the concept delivered huge talkability at all levels – from the grassroots crowd right up to mass media.

The objective of comms wasn’t about selling Samsung products, but about telling an immersive story that mirrored consumer behaviour, built on a simple insight that everyone wants to consume and capture content vertically.
